Standard Booking Periods:
3 nights are Friday 3pm to Monday 10am
4 nights are Monday 3pm to Friday 10am
7 nights are Friday 3pm to Friday 10am
Any other specific arrival day or length of stay will be considered outside peak season, and will be accommodated if possible – please email email@example.com to check availability and prices.
Charges and Terms:
For all bookings, a deposit of 20% is required to confirm the booking. Credit card payments are not accepted at this time. Payment may be made by cheque or BACS/fast payment direct from your bank. You must make sure that this reaches us within 7 days of making the booking. As soon as payment is received, you will be sent an email confirming the booking and letting you know what the outstanding balance is, together with the final date for payment of that balance, which must be paid at least 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. For holidays which are to take place within 8 weeks of making the booking, the full balance is due on booking.
In the event that the balance of the booking has not been received 7 weeks prior to your arrival date, or the deposit has not been received within 7 days of the reservation being made, the owners of Pudding Cottage reserve the right to cancel the booking.
Bed linen and towels
All bed linen, tea towels, bath/hand towels are included in the rental charge.
Gas and electricity:
All gas, electricity and water usage is included in the rental charge, plus an initial supply of logs for the wood burner in the lounge.
Only those guests named at the time of booking should stay at Pudding Cottage unless subsequently agreed with the owner. Under no circumstances should the total number of guests exceed 4.
Your accommodation will be available to you from 3.00pm on the day of arrival unless otherwise agreed.
Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10.00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. You are politely requested to make sure that you leave the accommodation as you found it.
Please ensure you leave the keys and parking permit as instructed.
Pets are not permitted in the property
The cottage has a strict no-smoking policy.
Cancellation and Insurance
Once you have booked your holiday, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable.
In the event of a cancellation within 8 weeks of your holiday, every effort will be made to re-let the property, in which case you will be refunded any moneys already paid, less the deposit. If the property cannot be re-let, you will remain liable for the full cost of the booking, even if we have not yet received your balance. Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. For this reason it is strongly recommended that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
Non-availability of Accommodation
In exceptional circumstances, the cottage owner reserves the right to cancel your booking should the cottage become unavailable for reasons beyond the owner’s control. Under these circumstances, attempts would be made to find you alternative accommodation, however should this not be possible, or alternatives be unacceptable to you, you would receive a full refund of all monies paid by you for your accommodation at Pudding Cottage, including the deposit. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Damages and Breakages:
You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents during your stay. Please report these as soon as they occur.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Any data collected during the course of this booking may be kept on computer.
